Brunch & Bouquets

Come sip mimosas at Urban Roots Farm and learn from local florist, Sarah Stracke, how to craft a gorgeous bouquet using local and foraged flowers. An intimately served brunch featuring the season’s finest and prepared by Chef Katie Baker, of A Gracious Plate will follow. Leave the farm with a full belly and take home the arrangement you made!

Sarah focuses her work on creating arrangements that still feel like earth. She'll talk about sourcing locally and foraging wild material, and also discuss the variety of materials needed to create a successful arrangement. Tips will abound on how to best care for an arrangement from harvest to vase.
After learning the ins and outs of creating a vase arrangement and putting our knowledge to test, we'll decorate our tables with flowers and sit down to brunch, dining on a spread from Chef Katie Baker of A Gracious Plate.
Bring your friends! We'll be distancing groups of tables apart from one another, so that each group (maximum group size of 8 please) will get to work together to create their floral pieces, before enjoying an intimate family-style served brunch. Leave the farm with a full belly and take home the vase and arrangement you made!
